SRS Portfolio - Mid Sep update and the EPL distractions

The SRS portfolio continued with its slow recovery - Two positions Lendlease and Suntec have now turned positive whereas Starhill and UOB are still languishing in red. I will continue to "rebalance" my portfolio depending on how the market moves.

In addition, I received a distribution of $1,758 from the Lendlease Global REIT on 15 Sep and that brings my total cash in SRS to $108,490. Other than that, there is nothing else to report in the SRS portfolio . . .

Premier League season has finally restarted ...

It is the second week of the PL season - finally some distractions on weekends. I feel sorry for the Man U fans, the team playing yesterday is really .... kns. The most exciting team is Leeds. I like the way they keep attacking and Everton seemed to have bought and started well. This season should be more "unpredictable" and hopefully, less of a one horse race. And finally, Gareth Bale is out of Real Madrid. Does he still have what it takes? We shall see...

My predictions for the Season (not in order of merit):

Top 4 - Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Leicester

Top 4 Wannabes - Arsenal, Tottenham, Man United, Everton.

Top 8 Dark Horse - Wolves

Top box office - Leeds United

Bottom 4 - Aston Villa, West Ham, Fulham, WBA

Happy football watching (not betting) 😂

  1. Hi,

It takes time for the portfolio to generate positive outcome. The generated dividends will go to some extent to making the outcome a reality. Dividend growth investment is the way to go as per my perspective.

  2. Hi

From your post, u have around 224k invested and cash holding of 108K in SRS account? That's quite a big sum, almost reaching 400k. Congrats!
