SRS Portfolio - 16 June 2024 + Lesson from a Gardener?

The SRS Portfolio is running low on cash (excluding the amount parked with Endowus), so I will likely do a top up in June.

There isn't any major news announced in June and no distributions received, so the portfolio is just chugging along.

Global Portfolio

The Global Portfolio is surprisingly doing pretty well despite my small holdings. NVIDIA did a stock split and continued trending up while Apple shares also hit a new high. The big disappointment is actually Alibaba, that after a mini rally, is below my cost price. 

Anyway, NVIDA' CEO, Jensen Huang is creating "Jensanity" in Taiwan and all his "moves" are closely watched and followed, with a fruit vendor in a night market benefitting from his visit. So here is a lesson from him learning from a gardener in Japan. 

Given he has now become the 12th richest man in the world, probably not a bad idea to know what the gardener told him. 😆
